So I stumbled my way into BPS yesterday to browse around. Saw the KVD Squarebills with the photofinish on them and figured I'd grab a few. Stood out on the dock tonight with the Natural Pumpkinseed color. Made one cast and landed this pretty little thing...

Guess he really liked that little crank the way he choked it down. That's how you want to see them eat it. Not bad for the very first toss with a new bait.

Rod: Dobyns 705CB Glass
Line: Yo-Zuri Hybrid 10#
Reel: Shimano Citica 200E

I'm half tempted to go put the boat in the water and mess around for an hour or two now. :D

Dang, Eric. You're always catching nice P's in your backyard. I think you need to host a S.Florida get together at your house.

What do you say, guys. Everyone up to going to Eric's house for a fishing party?

I'm all up for it. Mainly because I am jealous! Never caught one!

Awesome fish, wish they had them where I fish. Did you buy the silent or rattling square bill?

You know the deal Doug, you're more than welcome. Bit of a drive from up in your neck of the woods. Lol.

Dwight, I'll fire up the grill.

Nodda4me, that particular one was a silent model.

Shane, you should like them. I've been pretty surprised at how well they fish down here. No issues at all working them through grass and other nasty stuff.
