...but not exactly easy to catch.

The giant Red Ear Sunfish, that is :) I had to work all day for about 25 of them, but as thick as they are, I'd expect about 100+ ! I guess they are more interested in making babies, than eating.....

Anyway, brought home 9 of them, for about 13 lbs.

But caught / released this big, fat 2.80 lb'er ;) {selective harvest is where its at :)}

I saw several that had to be over 3 lbs..... But unfortunately (as is often the case when bass fishing, too) the smaller males were much more agressive.....

Anyway, will be back there in a few hours :) Come on new PB ! :)
