Good friends Raider!! Yea I ain't got much but sparring some to my buddy with what I got. If he ever comes to get it lol.

Dang Jhoffman. Did you ever try to go back?

This buck lives inside a state park that only allows you to hunt doe's with archery tackle. Im actually gonna go down there this afternoon for one last hunt, cant hunt him though.

I mostly bow hunt and killed my first deer with a bow this year.  It was a small doe but she ate great and then I missed a bigger doe my last trip.  I also missed a running deer with my shotgun the last day of VA deer season.  I was comfortable with the shot, just had too much lead.

Mom killed a 5 pt and a doe so our freezer is in pretty good shape meat wise.

Dang backcast88 Momma gets in on the hunt!! I like that!Congrats to Momma and  congrats on first bow kill. Sorry for the two misses.

My uncle is about the get my Aunt a bow so she can go with us next year and me and my cousin thinking about trying to get our wives involved. Even if not hunting at least shooting and archery with us. Still enjoyable and fun target and skeet shooting with bow, handguns and of course shotgun for the skeets or some like to call clay pigeon.

Oh please dear lord let it be an 8 or more!!

Pretty good year for my family. I shot a doe bow hunting, my father and mother each got a doe slug hunting, and my Fiance shot a doe bow hunting!

I also got my shoulder mount back 3 weeks ago from the buck i shot the fall of 2011. Shot this big guy hunting public land, deer of a lifetime for me!

Thanks fellas! I shot him 10 minutes into legal shooting time, 200 yards away, and honestly had no idea he was that big.  I about ticked myself when I walked up on him lol

Got em all, tagged out on the last day at 8:30 am, doe #5. I thought I was gonna eat that last either sex tag I was holden out with. I saw three bucks I had in bow range but 2 - 8pointers and a 6, just none big enough to arrow, I had the one I wanted down South on public land but he stayed out, a little closer and I would a flung one at him, but sixty yards is just to risky on a trophy especially. But two years now without a quality buck, hopefully third time will be a charm and I'll arrow a giant next year. But till then the freezer is full and between the Walleye venison and perch, I can hold over till next fall, and it all starts all over again. GOD WILLING!!!

Hello guys, nice bucks. endless glad you got your first deer. I got my first two deer this year! I went out last year but missed a easy shot on a big doe... rookie mistake. but it all paid of when my first deer was a huge spike. im not kidding he was huge. Also it wasnt that bad i saw lots of deer. But anyways i got my first deer with my uncle in IL where you can only bow, shotgun, and muzzle loader hunt. so during youth shotgun i took my spike from a ground blind at 115 yd.'s with a slug :D. we couldent tell if i hit him or not since it was kinda a long shot, so exacly 6 min later after a big bang from the 12 g here comes a fawn walking by us at about 30 yd's so i had two tags so i shot her too. same thing tho we couldent see what happend since she ran behind a tree. so after while we went searching and for 10 min we couldent find anything! i was so worried it was a repeat of last year with the doe. then i found a chunk of blood. found the deer 15 yards away if that a huge spike. got him right through the heart. then we started dragging him through the been field and their was the fawn. same exact shot placement. it was great after think you missed them both missed the one last year and all. saw over 30 deer in 3 days but all out of range. then i went with my dad and we saw 20 more but all out of our range ( hunting in MO). even though we had the rifle we didnt want to take a shot when we arent the best of shots and didnt have a great scope. but after all the time and effort it was so exciting. so now that story time is over heres the pics.
