I have been in your shoes. I almost lost everything, I finally went to work for a temp service, until I could actually find a good job... which I did about 2 months later....

Go HERE for job opportunities.
Somthing to keep in mind is that even with the part-time jobs, your family is covered under your full bennies. Yup, even at part time.
Many of these 4 hr shofts also allow you to work elsewhere but provide a solid base and bennies for now.

Without knowing that it would be pretty tough for someone here to be able to hook you up with something.
BTW, when you get that next job and get settled in you may want to investigate furthering your job skills. Many corporations offer paid tuition for additional schooling.
