Mike Iaconelli made this exclusive video for us where he explains how to use the Alabama rig, and then dives into the theory of presenting new baits and new actions to the fish in order to make them bite.

Check it out!

Pretty cool technique to get people of all ages into fishing. Has anyone fished it for smallmouth? Just watched a cool video on youtube, i posted it in the smallmouth forum.

Cool vid. Does Mike look like he's losing weight? His neck and face appear to be unusually skinny. Maybe it's just the video angle.

Awesome perspective from a pro. I've yet to tie on the bama rig...never been much for swimbaits, much less 5 of them at once. The idea, however, seems reasonable. Kinda makes me wish I'd have thought of it. :laughing7:

I'm an LSU fan, so I will refer to this rig as the "multiple soft plastic lure presentation."

Good job on the video Mike! Thanks for the exclusive here for us and your long time support of this site. It is appreciated
