Also Check your eyes on your rod for nicks by swabbing a Q Tip in the eyes.If cotton is getting caught on your eye then that might be the culprit. . IF your eye had a crack in it that could be weakening your line.

? lol i didnt even know they have bass in africa...learn something new everyday. Ever think it could be just old line that is brittle. I would just Use a heavier braid, its a little more abrasion resistant.

Yea they seem to always like my spro frogs If there over 3 or so feet ill let them pull me around in the kayak then get the knife and loose a 10 dollar frog.
