  1. I enjoy living vicariously with other peoples wallets. ;D
  2. Why not get the best. The Hummingbird 987c.
  3. The boat looks great. When you get a gas motor and want to get rid of that trolling motor let me know. Check out LBH's article on putting in a floor. It is cheep and easy and it will make your boat quiet and safer. You should be able to finish it in a day. You will love it.
  4. Yes. The trailor is worth that much.
  5. Is that the male or female. Or does it matter.
  6. Nick take him out in the yard and give him a casting lesson. It will make taking him much easier.
  7. The lagistics are more complex when you talk about 8 guys fishing as opposed to just two. It's going to take some work for the camera crews.
  8. KU, That's exactly what I found. Very interesting isn't it.
  9. Wow, Great question. I will do some research.
  10. I think Charlie is a good guy. Just give him some time. This is a win win situation. He will take the challange.
  11. I love to catch bass on the fly. One of my lifes goals is to win a tournament using a flyfishing tackle. My favorite pattern is casting a damsil fly to the edge of the weeds and just twitching it. The bass explode on it.
  12. Never leave fish to find more fish.
  13. Demented, I couldn't sympathize with you more. I started shooting guns and reloading my own bullets at a very young age. By the time I was 15 or so I was pretty much a ballistics expert. Nothing ticked me off more than some dumb guy at the gun shop that would talk down to me or hand me a gun like he was doing me a favor. This happened to me for years. I used to have fun with these guys. I would start talking way over their heads and they would get that deer in the headlights look. It's funny watching those "McDonalds Rejects" squirm trying to keep their macho appearance. After a few minutes they would either shut up and walk off or respect me and treat me like a customer.
  14. This is how I did it. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1139686391
  15. Put it on ice and call your fisheries dept. in the morning. They might want to see it.
  16. Ryan, If you want to see the Min Kota go to Varner and check out the one on the back of the pontoon boat that is tied up on the right side of the left arm. It uses 4 batteries and is like having a 8 hp motor on the back of the boat. That pontoon can fly.
  17. First of all, welcome. You have come to the right place to learn all you need to know to get started. Now, go to the top of this page and put your arrow on Fishing Articles and click on For Beginning Anglers and start reading. This will get you started. Then come back here with any question you might have. We don't care how dumb you think your question is. We love to answer them all.
  18. It turned out great Mike. Now take a Sharpie and write my name on the back seat and it will be perfect. I am thinking about adding a 15W solar panel to mine but I still have to do some research on it.
  19. Paparock read any article writen by Triton Mike he is a wealth of info on catching Spots on deep rocky lakes.
  20. That just breaks my heart. Randall you are in my prayers and if you need anything. Just ask. I will be there. I'll PM you my Cell Number.
  21. I keep mine in the bags they came in. Then I sort the bags and put them in a gallon zip-loc. It takes up less space and I can find what I am looking for in a hurry.
  22. Welcome to this great site. I know you will enjoy it.
  23. A cooler livewell is great. I baught a second pump with a long hose. I use this pump to empty and refill the cooler. Also by one of the good 5 day coolers. The lid is more secure and it is great when fishing in hot weather.
  24. I hunted turkey on the Big Island but I didn't know they had LM. The lake that I caught Peacock in was the only lake that had them. It was in the middle of Oahu and there were signs everywhere that said don't eat the fish because the water was so contaminated. It is located in Wahiawa, the armpit of the Island.
  25. ditto I fished for peacock bass on Oahu.
