  3. Check out this cool boat up on eBay right now. I can't post a link because I don't have enough board posts yet. Perhaps someone else can help me out with that. Go to auction # 170184688665 I like it!!
  4. Something else to consider. YOU plus two batteries in the back are going to make your boat ride "bow high". You might want to do what I did, replace your trolling motor cable with one 10 to 12 feet long, and put your batteries as far forward as possible. Just a thought.
  5. Fish first, mods later (like the day after tomorrow maybe) but take it fishing right away.
  6. John check out this link. Scroll about half way down the page. http://www.bassjons.com/mycustompage0025.htm The boat number is 2812 JJ Good Luck With Your Mods!
  7. I own four trolling motors. Two MinnKota, One Shakespeare, One Motorguide. They are: 1. Transom Mounted 2. Yard Sale Purchases 3. Old 4. Working Perfectly Any prop I ever replaced (2) came from www.youngprops.com
  8. I'm left-handed, and I swear the person who invented the thing was left-handed too! I find it kind of comical to watch the pros on TV cast, then switch hands! I think this is one instance where the right handed world is struggling to do something that comes natural to a lefty! ;D
  9. Same here CGH. I searched the net high and low but found nothing. I did consider opening it up to take a look. One of the guys here at work told me his Radio Shack unit takes a 2amp fuse. 2amp sounds good enough to me. As the unit was given to me, and has no warranty, I really don't stand to loose a lot, but using a fuse sure beats "hot-wiring" in straight to the battery. Thanks for the reply. JH
  10. Do you have any idea the max amp draw for a Ray Jefferson 6700 VHF radio? Thanks in advance.
