Shallow humps (6-10') that have some protection from northern winds are a good bed for bigger fish as well. And since these fish are off the beaten path, not many anglers will find them and they will be easier to catch.

If you were throwing senkos in lakes up here three year, you would catch ever fish in the lake. Now go try it... You will be beat destroyed by jig-fisherman in 9/10 lakes. Last year it was noticable that the senko bite was diminishing, this year that senko bite (texas or wacky rigged) is gone in all the lakes I fish. And I could not be happier... There is still one lake though, but I have learned to love a 4" junebug senko.

Sunny but the morning temps were in the low-mid 20's. Coldest boat ride of my life. The feeder was on the northern side of the lake. It flows out of a lake a couple miles north of the lake I was fishing. Water was really ripping threw it. pm sent Paul
