I just said how the smallie record won't fall be smallie populations are dropping. The only places I know of that can kick out a 6 pound smallie is Wachaug (I saw a dead one there that was over 6), or Indian. There are very few quality smallies in Stafford. But places like Johnsons and Tiogue still have some decent sized smallies. I have seen 4 smallies come out of Johnson's all of which were over 2.5. Tiogue has some monsters, one night I was pulling the boat out and a guy had a smallie that might have gone 5. The largie record will fall before the smallie record does and it will come out of Wordens, the northern end of Johnsons, or 2 oher places. One of these places kicked out 2 fish over 9 this year and I saw a pic of one of them. If Beach Pond was controlled by RI, I would say both records would come out of there.
