I am terrible at catching bass during the rain and I need to learn what I must do to make fish bite during the rain. So what depth and presentation do you normally find effective while fishing in the rain.

I use baitcasters for all my types of fishing even finesse fishing. Because I am more of a power fisherman. I like to use heavyer lines and strong rods.

Some fish that are marked in my lake have been caught 2-3 times. (We keep records of the fish growth and mark them by numbers)

How come alot of the shimano reels have very few ball bearings? I thought the more ball bearings the smoother it was? Why are the priced so high with such few bearings?

I cant descide if I should get the St. Croix TBC70MHM Big Cranker or the Cabelas XMLTI Casting rod. Which one should I get?
