EWG shaky heads
I was wondering if anyone use an EWG shaky head for thicker baits like craws on their shaky heads. If so Iam looking for some.I seen zipper had some on the *** site as well as owner. I would like one with at least a 2/0 hook and to 1/4oz and ligther.I dont care for the heads with the screw system I would rather have a barbed collar or nothing at all.If anyone has used these style of jig heads did you like em? My concearn with those is the angle of the eye of the hook and how well they come through brush.

I'm sick of keeping this a secret
Its funny - I had a similar situation happen to me with the same style swimbaits . I was using a hollow bodied swimbait throwing it to a line of willow trees in about a 1 to 3 feet of water in the middle of the day trying to hit some shade. I was being kinda of conservative picking my spots making a effort to be real stealthy without any results. Well finally out frustration i reared back and threw it as hard as i could and as luck may have it -it skipped and skipped and skipped way back in to a small opening in between some willows. About a turn and a half latter 4lber. LIGHT BULB went off . Swimbaits skip good but a 3 1/2 green pumpkin tube with a lake fork 3/0 hook gets a lot more bites than a 5 inch swimbait skipped into all those willows. Tubes skip well enough as they are but with that style hook you can put your bait in some nasty stuff . Anyways haven't tried the rage tail yet .Do you swim it with a steady retrieve or just fish standard like a worm?

Does anyone know how to go about getting a custom mold made? I dont want a bondo or plaster mold. I know what I want and I will pay the price. I want the best mold their is for this certain worm. The company I was buying them from quit making them.

Bomber Model A
Heres my 2 cents. I have had a lot of good luck on the model A but in the 6 and 7A's . Its unlike a DD14 or DD22 or even a fat free shad that vibrate fairly hard and feels awkward to fish because of their size and often times in the winter to much vibration. The 7a's to me have a wide kinda roll side to side type action. It feels good to have a crankbait that will dive 8 to 11 or 12 feet at the most and not wear you out at the end of the day.Right now is the time I use the 7A's mainly in the winter in dark green crawdad and brown crawdad.

The HOT new plastic of 2008! Baby Turtles
You guys may be laughing at the rubber duck, but one of our local lake has a large population of Canadain gesse and last spring when all the little gesse hatched out I seen one get hammered by a large fish. Now I can't say that I saw that it was a big bass but I sure like to think that it was because it was an absolute crushing blow. Mommy goose was going nuts trying to figure out what had just happened .
