  1. They had a 10.61 and a 10.51 to top the stringer off this morning in the Stowaway sunday morning tournament. Second was a little over 22 and third was 19.90(3 fish). Looks like we all will be fishing for second next weekend in the media tournament. I prefished five hours today and my five best were right at 17 so i have my work cut out. If you want to see the fish go to TFF and check them out in the bass fishing section.
  2. Wrong, there are no good ones, just some that cost more than others.
  3. Turned it off after 10 minutes. Unwatchable nonsense.
  4. According to my notes Sam Rayburn is 7.49' lower than it was a year ago today. The crankbait bite was on the last trip up.
  5. It's called a thumb. Learn to use it and the problems will go away. If any of you just can't use the Revo SX and want to part with several at a reduced rate just let me know.
  6. X2, just picked it up this week and read it for the fourth time. It never gets old.
  7. Just checked my records. Sam rayburn is 7.49' lower than it was a year ago today. I keep pages on every trip reguardless if it's just a three hour trip or day long.

  10. Sick, but wondering how they located and gathered them up.
  11. Absolutely get involved in a club. Most clubs are begging for nonboaters. Do your homework carefully. Some clubs want to argue more than fish. It has ruined more than a few.
  12. My son lives in Sterrett down 280. Get me your contact info and i will send it to him. He would probably jump at it. He has his/mine own boat.
  13. We did to Catt. Got over 5" at my house. I left out thinking I would run out of most of it. Never did and i turned it around just above Beaumont. Had two goretex rain suits with me, but don't think the dual bildge pumps would have stood a chance in that weather we had. I was just not that mad at them.
  14. X2, this tells you all you need to know.
  15. Stay away from the weights that have the insert in them. You can thank me later.
  16. X2, just get use to it before you kick it to the side and hit the on/off button, or make sure you have a towel and a change of clothes with you. Don't ask me how i know this.
  17. I bought a used 798 unit and it came with the HDSI transducer(Owner had allready done the upgrade). The images are great on it. Since i never had the option of seeing the images with the standard transducer i cannot comment about that other than to say I don't think they could be any better.
  18. Absolutely do not carry any guns or ammunition across the border. One bullet is as bad as carrying an AK. Will cost you(Your family) thousands of dollars to get you out and back across to the U.S. side. I have carried on the Texas side, but no way will I if i am going across.
  19. i didn't get any today. the weather turned off so bad i turned around and came home. glad i did to. It's bad outside.
  20. Leaving shortly for indian mounds. will give a report when i return.
  21. I gave him an example of a pattern within a pattern in my first response. I don't see that it was being harsh at all. Don't consider any of the other responses out of line either. He now has examples of a pattern within a pattern. Jack

  24. okay , thats what I figured. I am looking into whether or not it is possible to install a 55lb. motor assembly on my 40 unit. I don't see why it isn't possible , would be alot cheaper than buying a complete new unit. I feel just the oposite. I run a hand operated bow mount 74# minn-Kota with a on/off button in the floor and i love it.
