  1. Hell i have friends that were arrested fishing flood waters off a river. As the water rose they followed it into a pasture. The land owner called the sheriff, they were taken out of the boat, cuffed, and hauled off to jail charged with trespassing. That was four years ago and it is no closer to being settled than the day it started.
  2. You will probably get lots of responses, but it won't be answers.

  5. You have no idea the can of worms you just opened. Courts, government, lawyers, landowners, water districts, property owners, general public, etc. have been trying to settle this for years. I'm betting if you do access it from another source and it's situated over private property you will be cuffed and hauled off for trespassing. The courts in Texas and louisiana are full of cases just like this. no one has a clue yet. FYI, make sure your friend is willing to post your bail when you do try to access it. Have it in writing because he has no clue. No one else does either.

  8. Me to, but not for the same reasons.
  9. Ya'll ain't got nothing on us. They set up on I-10 east of Houston with signs starting about 10 miles away stating that road block is ahead. The closer you get the more signs. Be cautious of working drug dogs. Several patrol cars setup on each side of the road with flashing lights. They give the druggies one or two exits to get off the freeway before the checkpoint. All they do is just set up off those two exits and pull over the cars that dart off the freeway. Pretty slick, they know exactly which cars are hauling drugs.
  10. When is his new movie due out? Can't wait to catch it.
  11. Ronnie, have not checked the map, but the pipeline running west to east on the NW side of Bugg Island has some markings . Not sure if that could be it, just a thought. Jack
  12. Fished Rayburn Friday. Shad and the bass are loaded in the backs of the creeks i fished. White buzzbait, shad crankbaits, trick worm, lipless crankbaits(Rayburn Red) all caught fish. Moved out to the outer points midday and they were set up on them to. Just look for the shad on your units, the fish are closeby and feeding well. Lake is still way down(8+) so be careful. Temps were right at freezing early so dress warm. It rained and sleeted for a few minutes around 8:30 but lasted only 15 minutes. The bite was on.
  13. I have had AT&T U-verse for the last year(Phone, Internet, and TV). Not one outage or complaint from me. Plus it saved almost a hundred dollars a month over the rest for comparable service and programing.
  14. At least we can now quit with all the ridiculous statements from the know-it-alls about Boise State. Never should have been up there to begin with.
  15. Warmer water = more grass More grass = more bass
  16. Congratulations on the new ride. The pucker factor with those boats is outstanding. Enjoy.
  17. X2 on the Trophy four blade. i run it when i know it's going to be rough and i have a load in the boat. In the winter if it's just me i can get away with my Lazer II 25P, but run a 23P tempest in the warmer months. Trophy gives me a little more bow lift and hole shot. The Lazer II 25P gives me more top end, and the 23P Tempest is just a good all around prop for my boat. Every boat, load, and water/weather conditions require different setups though. Good luck
  18. Welcome, and nice job on the tournament. We need more like you.

  23. Forget Jackson hill. you need to stay downj on the big water. If you do put in there watch yourself when you round the big point going south. Very shallow and you will be skimming mud if you are not sure where you are. San Augustine park...fish the outer points and islands out across the open water on the west side of the run going south.. buck bay, needmore point and down in that area is where i would fish. I'll pm some cordinates if you like, just remember there is likely to be very shallow water between the ramp and the cordinates. Lake is 8 1/2' low today. If it was me i would put in over around Caney Creek Ramp and run to coleman, veach, and five fingers, fishing the main lake points and checking the backs of the creeks. lots of shad working the mid areas of the creeks. top water has been real well.
  24. where you putting in?
  25. Thanks Wayne, just proves the point that I am a new user. Still lots to learn. While I'm at it i want to thank you for all the info and other helpful hints you sent me over on the other site. Very interesting reading to say the least. Jack
