  1. You will probably be better off getting it done and watch them. this is no area to be fooling around. You better take a close look at the spindle to see if it is ok, if not replace it or the entire axle. If you try you will need this: Rear seal Inner & outer races Inner & outer bearings Washer Cotter pin New hub Nut Dust cap or Bearing Buddy Grease Good luck
  2. Careful, you know we all carry guns down here.
  3. If you cut it you automatically lose your man card for a month.
  4. My 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac has 214,678 on it as of today. Same transmission, motor, and rear end. Only changed the fluid in each. Five sets of brakes. The A/C went out a couple of months ago. I fixed it myself for just under 500.00. Wiring harness in the steering column went bad last year. I fixed it myself and the parts cost me 63.14. Other than replacing five fog lights due to rocks breaking them over the years that's it. The only thing currently not working is the overhead temp/gps feature. I'll tear into it next week and find out what's up with it and fix it before the weekend. I pull my skeeter weekly with it.
  5. If you spool up now or around christmas the line will take a set. you don't want that. Wait until spring, buy the line, and respool then. What do i know though, I change a spool out after a long day on the water. Fished Lake conroe one day last week. The line on the six reels I took with me was new. It will be changed before i head to Rayburn for a tournament next weekend.

  7. I have a 19P, 21P,23P, 24P, and a 25P. what you looking for. The 21P is designed for 75-125 HP Mercury motors. Let me know if you are interested. I have a few more ordered and will be in next week. Have a couple of the 19s in stock and they might run well for you. just depends on your setup. If you want to try one let me know and i will send it to you to try. If it is what you want/need we will get together on the price. i guarantee you they will be cheaper than you can buy anywhere.
  8. And he will be a problem. Watch the team start to have internal problems. It will have an effect on the number of wins.
  9. So true. Hopefully the new owners of BASS will try to put an end to the lack of tournaments on the lakes out west that continue to be ignored.
  10. I agree you should vote, but I don't agree with the second half of that statement. Voting is only one part of the process. Once the election is over, you need to tell your representative what you want them to do. Over and over. Everyone does. Look at it this way: so, I voted. My person didn't win. I'll go home and whine for the next 2/4/6 years because I earned the right whine. Uhhhh...NO!!!! Write your elected official, and tell them your concerns with specific issues, and how you want them to act on them. That's WAYYYY more important than actually voting. Voting gets you a sticker and a badge on Foursquare. Communicating with your elected representatives gets things done. Sometimes. Very well stated J Franco.
  11. Mark it and drill the mount hole before you cut the shaft. It's easier that way. Don't ask me why I know that. LOL.
  12. No way we can answer that. Setup makes all the difference. Prop Prop height Load weather Weight Hull design Jackplate (Yes/No) You see where I'm going with this? Plenty more needed than this.
  13. They have you sitting in the corner for timeout.
  14. Maybe they will let you off the hook.
  15. Well, if my magazine gets any smaller it probably should be referred to as a periodical. Thinner and thinner each month. It's almost embarrassing. This month's issue could have arrived with two first class stamps and not had "Postage Due" stamped on it. Sad!
  16. Without a case study and verifiable studies you are wasting your time. As far as the shore fishermen, they have a legal right to take a legal limit from the lake every day. You might get someone to do a license check on them occasionally, but that's about it.
  17. Here's how i keep from running out of lipless crankbaits. And, yes, I have more. Didn't even bother to throw out all the 3/4 oz. i have. LOL.
  18. Beat him to the mail box, white out, guaranteed fishing trip.
  19. X2, up and down, all you need to know. Put it at the right depth and it will outfish just about anything.
  20. Current count is five over the side. The last(Revo/Allstar combo) I kicked over the side in 30 fow while picking up my birddog by gripping him on the back. I stood there holding him with both hands watching the setup slowly sink out of site. Most of the others happened while i was dealing with a bad case of Carpul tunnel Syndrom. The second and third days on the water trying to fish with your fingers totally numb will not allow you a death grip on a rod. Sucks
  21. Follow the bait Mouths of pockets Main lake points Secondary points Backs of pockets Flats off the creeks
  22. Interesting comment. Never thought about not triming the weedguard for that reason. I do trim all of mine and have no problem getting a hook in or keeping most hooked up.
