    manns 1- in baby bass
  2. senkos, zoom u-tales, berkley powerworm
  3. d**n... i wish i had that much to spend on fishing stuff... that would make my day
  4. Are Sammys really worth their price?? i heard they have a wider and less choppier walk the dog action but have never seen one in action
  5. I've used the storm wildeye swimtails... they didn't really impress me, i'd rather stick to a crankbait. That and i've had the core rip out of them many times
  6. I can't seem to catch anything with any topwaters except the zara spook and i'm from southwest WI
  7. I was fishing with my dad one day and caught a 15" smallie(my biggest smallie), like half an hour later he caught an 18" smallie... the biggest bass i've ever seen (we fish off shore by a dam where everyone else and their cousin fishes). He rubs it in until this day...
  8. I have a pinnacle solene also... its not a bad reel, cheap and gets the job done
  9. you should get a bellyboat...
  10. if they can't see red.... thats good because they can't see my hook... if they can... it'll stimulate them to bite it because they think its blood(hopefully)... win win situation
  11. i have a beat up bomber model a and it seems like it just keeps getting hit more and more... its going to be clear soon if it loses any more paint
  12. inline spinners definetly will work... a lighter color like yellow works wonders for me in those kind of situations
  13. i caught a 23 incher with a 4" powerworm before...
  14. I think its because red stimulates aggressive behavior from fish because it resembles blood... i think i read that on the back of a lure box...
  15. 23" dogfish... i thought it was something sweet at the time...
  16. Bomber Model A in brown crayfish color... caught quite a few of them the other day including a 15" in a heavily fished spot...
  17. 4" Camo Berkley Powerworm... texas rigged with red 1/0 gamakatsu wide gap worm hook
  18. I was thinking about using either 20lb test or 14lb test... i mainly fish for bass but thought maybe heavier test would be easier to use since it has such a thin diameter and would be stronger and more abrasion resistant. I read that it was really hard to break fireline also and that it had really good abrasion resistance. But then... i guess i've never used it so i wouldn't know
  19. I was fishing the other day and caught 25 stripers in a little over 2 hours with a yellow rooster tail... I never thought of using a rooster tail until i saw someone else nailing them with it...
  20. I have 3 spinnerbaits and 2 buzzbaits and 1 terminator hybrid blade spinnerbait. i never use my buzzbaits because i never seem to catch anything when i use them. I have 2 terminator spinnerbaits and 1 stanley wedge. I also have a bunch of different skirts to change to. Crankbaits, however... thats a whole different can of worms
  21. I fish from shore all the time and i recommend the Cabelas Advanced Angler backpack... its got great storage space and its real convenient for when you are moving from spot to spot. Its only like 40 or 50 bucks, great buy
  22. Powerworms are pretty much amazing
  23. walking the dog kills my wrists after a while
  24. I've used Vanish Transition in 12lb test in crimson red color... the line itself is pretty good, but the red color seems more annoying than useful because you can't seem to see it either way
