Dan do you fish tournaments? Dan do you honestly think he shouts and flips out with every fish? You have got to be kidding. There are times in a tourney where I would yell for a 14" fish. Everytime I see him yelling and flipping out hardcore is when he is fishing a tough tournament or in contention to money. Also on his fishing show if the day is SLOOOOWWWW like I have seen in many episodes he gets excited to get any fish he could hook into. I don't see him flipping out when he catches 20 12 inch fish.

Dan this whole subject has been beat to death in the past on this forum. Read old posts to find people thinking the same as you if you need that. I don't know what your looking to get out of this discussion? Looking for arguments?

Dude I feel ya. I have had the same problem with my last 3 "new" schumacher chargers I bought on ebay. It is quite annoying when you have to babysit the charger.

I just bought a Cabelas XML 7' Heavy Fast for $40. I would suggest that rod.

I think stability is an issue. I wouldn't want to get beat up if I am fishing 200 days a year.

I also was thinking along the lines of using the Quantum rod for pitching and using the XML rod for frogs. The quantum stick is big and sort of tough to work frogs. Snapped that on hooksets too. It wasn't the knots I was tying or due to fishing in rock. Braid just doesn't deal real well with sudden or hard hooksets. Having zero stretch means something has to give. It's usually the rod if the drag is cranked all the way down. I think it mainly boils down to poor abrasion resistance, braid is not so good in that category. I agree with Jimzee. I learned the hard way when I was in two BFL's. I lost 4 fish total by the line snapping. . I switched two Gamma and only use braid for frogs now.

That is good advice. Do you usually use the same baits for each depth application. For instance if you fish a weed bed in the afternoon with a 10" junebug worm and a beaver without a hit will you hit it again with a 8" worm and a brush hog. Same with day to day? If you are not getting constant strikes on the baits you use, but you caught fish int he past with will you change? I tend to use the same baits which I have confidence in.

How many baits will you go through if you are fishing an area that you know has fish, but they arn't hitting? What is your process in selecting baits and do you believe that eventually they will eat something you throw at them?

Well about a month ago I had my 4th knee surgery. Ever since this last surgery I couldn't sleep past 3am no matter what time I go to bed. The lack of sleep in the first few weeks were because of pain and having to sleep on my back. The last week I haven't had much pain and sleep in normal positions, but I still cannot sleep past 3am. I wake up at 3am everyday and watch the world series of poker on espn then go back to sleep around 5am and wake up at 630 to go fishing. Is this just habitiual at this point? I slept good one night since surgery and that was because I was hammered. The lack of sleep is starting to wear on me. Should I go to a sleep study or a doctor?

I agree. Sometimes those "to good to be true" deals really are just that. It was hard to pass up a brand new charger for $25 I think they retail around $50+.

Out of the three chargers one will charge the batteries. The batteries still are fine. I don't know what a bad battery would mean, but they have been running my electronics and TM all season so far (probably 25-30 trips). cart that is the exact model of the chargers I purchased. Ebay for 25 bucks a piece, great deal if they work! way2slow what charger do you recommend to charge and discharge?

Ok here it goes. I bought one off of ebay for $26 brand new. I received it and it worked the first 4 or 5 times so I ordered another for $26. Got the other one and the connection light is red and the charging light is green. So I disputed the transaction and he said he will send me another. So he sent me another and the same thing happened. Now the first one will not tick up and will not shut off when the battery is charged. Any advice. This is frustrating. Also does anyone have any suggestions for battery chargers? DEPENDABLE CHARGERS.

I can't find anything saying GPS on the 565. Its a great deal if there is GPS also. Can you use hotmaps or navionics?

Whats with the attitude man? The guy just asked a simple questions to see if anyone else had an experience with haggling with the company. If you thought it was stupid you should have kept it to yourself. Instead you had to come off like a jerk to everyone else who has never met you or talked to you.

When I weighed it on the water it was verrrry choppy. The wind was blowing 25 so the boat kept going up and down. The scale fluctuated between 6.5 and 7 so I say its 6.5.
