Rose Valley Lake??
hey Rose Valley is a great lake. Don't go there expecting to catch monsters though. Don't get me wrong there are some nice fish in the lake but 9 out of 10 fish are probably going to be 13 to 14". We fished up there a couple of weeks ago and hit them pretty good on tubes and cranks (tenn shad!!!) and actually did the best on flukes. hope I caught you in time and this helps. good luck!!!

1st Time Smallie Fishing
As far as tackle I would keep it simple... tubes w/tube jig, crankbaits(various depth) and spinnerbaits. you may want to consider a buzz bait or two as well. As far as colors I would keep it simple as well, pumkin green, watermelon seed, etc. these are all natural colors. color of spinnerbaits, I generally throw white/Chartruese. but there are a billion colors. Just remember there are a ton of baits out there that are all "the best" and it can blow your mind!! :-X Keep to the basics and you should do well and have a blast!!! Good luck!

Susquehanna River PA Tourny changes?
hey guys, Prety new at this, only 2nd post. I looked into this alittle bit and I believe the beef is with tournys catching fish all over the river and then releasing them all at the weigh in instead of returning them to various locations and also that we kill alot of fish( which is far from the truth). I think it is pretty wacky considering the people cmplaining seem to be those people who choose to harvset bass instead of catch and release. WACKY!!! :-?

need some help
I feel your pain! > All of us get stuck in that rut from time to time. Well now that we are coming into the fall/early winter, fish are prepairing for winter. Cranks and soft jerks can work well. Look for bait fish. Don't abandon your confidence baits. A tube is mine and I will through it all year long. Confidence is a big part of the battle. Go Git em!!
