I like the 1/4 oz in white for most of the time, but black works well also. I'll throw a 3/8 oz in the same color if the wind is blowing. Cheers, Gungle
  3. Smallmouths all the way Cheers, Gungle
  4. Hey Txguy, Take a look at this web site; wayneswords.com you will find all the information you need. There is a forum there with a ton of good info. Your bass tackle will handle anything in the lake. Stripers rarely go much over 12 with most in 5 to 8 lb range (too many fish to grow much larger). Be sure you have a couple BIG ice chests with some ice in them for stripers. There is no limit on them and the park service encourages everyone to keep all that you catch. If you hang them on a stringer they are hard to fillet, ice works much better, especially in that heat! You will have the time of your life! Post some pics when you get back!!! Cheers, Gungle

Guess I'll jump in here too! I'm George, but everyone calls me Gungle (George of the Gungle with a "G"). Seen a lot of sites but this one has been some of the best reading of them all. I live in Albuquerque, NM but I have been working in Washington D.on't C.are for the past 2 years. Cheers, Gungle
