are you referring to the 6720 president series? How many yards of 2lb do you think would fit on it since it's rated 105/4?

I just picked up a loomis sr6010-2 for my backpacking fishing rod and was wondering what type of small reel would fit into it nicely. Would the pflueger pres 6025 or stradic 1000 fl be good choices?

Is it recommended to tie fluorocarbon leader to braided line using a surgeons knot if I wanted to throw some small jigs/spinners/spoons?

I am debating on what kind of line to get for my crappie/trout setup and was wondering what's the difference between mono and fluorocarbon line. I plan on throwing small kastmasters and roostertails with the 6lb line and using the extra spool with 4lb test for bobber with minnows. Any suggestions on the type of line to get? So for I've been eying the pline soft fluorocarbon line.

How does the legend elite series compare to G.Loomis in terms of gl2, gl3, imx?

I'm getting pretty tired of my ugly stick combo and planning for a decent upgrade. I'm planning on getting a G.Loomis 7' SJR842S with a Team Daiwa Tierra Spinning Reel 2500. I plan on using 6lb test and the other with 9lb test. I just plan on throwing kastmasters fishing for 2-5lb trout/salmon. I do fish bass occasionally for catfish too. For bass I plan on throwing rapala's, rattletraps, and senkos. Would this be a decent combo for the fishing that I do?
