  1. Any updates on this??
  2. Shimano Curado E7. This is an awesome reel to get started with.
  3. The front and rear decks look pretty small. Seems like the boat is more orientated for speed than fishability.
  4. Hi

Welcome, Your problem is about to get a whole lot worse. This site is very addicting, so much information.
  5. Would I buy a Chrysler? NO Why? I work on them everyday at my Repair facility and can tell you first hand they are made to FAIL. Honestly you would be better off spending a little bit more and buying an Import.
  6. Florida -Home of the Florida Strain Bass, If it wasn't for Florida You Cali guys would be catching those Northern Dinks. -Fishing capital of the world. -Can fish 365 days of the year -The water Never freezes here. -Largest Variety of senior citizens in the World. -Home of the worst drivers in the world. I could go on and on all day.
  7. Beautiful fish Paul, Congrats. You Realize these lakes you have access to are a BASS fishermans Heaven.

Big congrats Paul. Time spent fishing with ones kids is priceless..
  12. I live on the Lake.
  13. All I can say is that the Canals around Lake Wellington are red hot in the early AM and late PM.
  14. I would say approx 10 floating peacock. But dont worry I saw alot of Big Peacock still alive and thriving.
  15. Started out the day at 7:00am fishing from the boat hitting up Lake Wellington, Went out with a friend and caught some nice fish. The biggest fish of the Morning went a little over 4lbs. We caught about 11 fish total, Almost all of which came on a top water plug.. We also spotted a bunch of dead Peacock Bass from the Last cold snap we experienced down here. After a quick break we decided to go hit up another local lake to walk the bank. I did get much for numbers managed two fish with the big fish going over 6lbs. Nice day overall and beautiful weather.
  16. That's incredible!
  17. I don't need to see my line or feel my line. I was thinking of ways to better see what your pitching too as far as weed line, brush, tree stumps, rocks, floating pipes and other hazards in the water that would hang you up when bank fishing and throwing a top water bait. Just wanted to see if anyone had used the Night Vision goggles before.
  18. I guess the night vision idea is a no go then. Someone had metioned "use your ears" But when your fishing in pitch dark, how do you know what your casting into?? Is night fishing only a possibility during a full moon?
  19. Why did he bother weighing in?????
  20. Wouldn't a bright flashlight spook the fish? I was thinking of getting a head strap with a bright flash light like the coal miners use. But wasnt sure if that would scare the fish.
  21. Anyone ever try using night vision goggles to fish at night? I'm thinking about picking up a set of goggles for this summer. Whats your opinions? http://www.opticsplanet.net/atnamvipmodh.html
  22. Ill answer all of your questions right now, I have been to the park a number of times. How much bank access is there? There is a ton of bank access, probably a few miles worth. How many people could fish the shore without interfering with each other? 400-500 no problem. How many "hotspots" are on the shore? i.e. lay downs, bushes, baitfish cover, anywhere on the shore that is obviously the most productive? There is a few fish feeders around the park that normally produce pretty well. Are there any picnic tables? Yes is it shady or really sunny (do I need sunblock)? Sunblock would be recommended Is it quiet or does the park get crowded? Quiet for the most part. How many other bank fishermen can I expect to see there? 5-15 on average. Is there a grill? Yes
  23. Awesome, work. What kind of action does it have in the water?
