For me the smallmouth are chasing baitfish right now, nothing tops a Keitech 3.3 Fat Impact. we have alot of Alewife in our waters so thats the color ive been using.

For me its two reels, as a fineese angler its a Daiwa Airy Red Pixy, and the Daiwa Alphas Air reels.

Got it from hedgehog.

Not a spinning reel guy, I use a 7'0 light action kistler KLX ned rig rod with a Daiwa Airy Red Pixzilla spool with 6lb flouro. works great for me.

Keen newports for me!

I brought a couple haven't thrown them yet. But when I buy tungsten jig I buy them because the noise they make when they bounce off rock cant be matched by a lead head jig. Most times they key off that noise and will get bite when a lead jig won't get touched. It has happened plenty of times fishing with my friend, when I'm smoking them and they aren't getting a bite using the same color. Soon they will be asking me for a tungsten jig!

That's a Daiwa A.O.I. reel, they were only 300 made so it's almost impossible to find.

GLX MBR 782/Shimano Conquest 50

For me right now 1-casting its a toss up betwween a Daiwa Airy Red Pixy and a Daiwa Aird Red Tune 100R 2-spinning 2006 Shimano Biomaster 2500

My Pixy (Pixilla) on a GLX 782 gets the job done.

Curado 50E/Powell 783C which u can get for under $300. Good all around setup.

My punching setup is Revo STX/Custom St Croix Avid flipping stix spooled with 50lb braid.

My favorite setup right now is a Shimano Scorpion 1000 XT paired with a Gloomis MBR 783C GLX.

I use a St. Croix Legend tournament jerkbait rod paired with a Daiwa AlphasF supertuned spooled with 10lb flouro. Really like that combo for jerkbaits.

My jig setup is a Shimano Core100MG/6'8 MHF Shimano Cumara.

Another vote for the Curado, but I like the 50E over the 200E.
