Spinning or baitcast,for me it's def my Calcutta 400 for big pike.Im getting buried with it.

It's tough to pick one favorite, they all have their place. If I had to, I'd pick my Abu Record 40 (modified with 2BB levelwind and 2BB cog wheel).

I don’t have a favorite reel. A good reel is invisible to me. If I’m thinking about my reel when fishing, it’s because it’s not working properly. It’s hard to say a reel is exceptional because it does what it’s supposed to do. 

I really like my Scorpion DC. Love the zing.

My favs are my gen 3 Revo SXs and my Lew’s Tournament Lite Speed Spool. I just picked up a Daiwa Tatula SV TW so that could change soon though.......

I haven't been able to pick just one for any of these threads over the last few years.  Whenever I try I wind up with a list longer than I'd like.

 

New-2-me not long ago and headed toward the top:  Older Steez and Exsence DC.

For 2018, my favorite bc reel was my Chronarch MGL HG.  For spinning reels it was my Stradic 2500 FJ.  Even though I have higher end reels, these two get the nod most of the time and why they are on my two most used rods.
