Hello everyone, I am looking to join a bass club in northern illinois, I currently fish the BFL's but I am looking to participate in more tournaments next year and keep bettering my skills.

X2, they are good reels, but remember to keep you hand on the handle when are setting the hook, I have lost several fish due to this, I have no switched to the Sahara.

I have been really impressed w/ the netbait stuff, but I would stay away from the emerald blue

I ended up restocking my jig collect, I got everything from swim jigs, to finesse jigs, to football jigs. Primarily the black & blue & PBJ. After last season the PBJ is one of my fav's. We ended up having all walleye guys at our BPS, so that was a little disappointing.

I have had very good luck with two baits 1.) Rapala DT -4 2.) Bomber model A

Does anyone know who actually makes the rods for Gander?

What is considered a small tackle bag?

i know what you mean about large waves on the great lakes, I have been in similar size waves out on lake michigan, however the division I am refering to doesnt fish on any of the actual great lakes, go figure, it has 4 events on the mississippi river and one on lake winneconne (wisconsin), I have never been on these bodies of water so I am unsure of how rough it can get, thanks again guys
