Helllo all, i am new to occoquan reservoir and will be fishing it sunday. i have a 14ft jon with a 9.9 on the back. i am launching from fountainhead most likely. does anyone have some tips for fishing this reservoir. i live an hour and a half away so id like this trip to be a little productive! lol

i have the junior world championship up on the allegheny pool 7 this wednesday. can anyone please give me some info on fishing pool 7. and also does pool 7 run south along the town of kittanning after dam 7 or does it run north from dam 7. any good places in pool 7 i should hit?? what is the water clarity like if there is no rain?

hello all. i qualified for the junior world championship (junior FLW) up in pittsburgh (kittanning) PA late july. i am going with a friend to prefish this sunday and i need info on the place asap. i will be fishing pool 7 of the river. i need to know if it is dangerous to run in a fiberglass boat. also any info on catching fish there would be great but most importantly the anatomy of the place (rocky shallow deep etc...) thanks in advance

ive got a 97 evinrude 9.9 outboard. i believe 2 stroke. i have had the same gas sitting in it for a couple months and i wanna take it out in the next couple weeks. is the gas still good?its been out in the shed which is fairly weatherproof. problem is i dont know how much gas is in the tank in order to put the right amount of oil. i dont want to screw this motor up i spent 200 to put new fuel line and water pump in. i am 16yrs old and dont have the money to blow if i break this thing. any advice on where to empty gas so i can put in new gas so i know exactly how much ive got in there!!??or any advice period

I put the bilge hole too low like an idiot. all sealed and glued down extremely tight. how could i plug it in a simple yet effective way. i would use a regular rubber plug but the bilge hole's brass fitting has a little ridge that makes the plugs not fit.

just wondering, has anyone noticed the complete lack of fishing shows anymore. i cant find a fishing show to save my life. besides bill dance who gets more boring and monotonous every show. catching a 6 pounder cast after cast.

Great Stories Guys!! Paul- Your story was amazing and those were some beautiful fish My craziest day is nothing close to yours but it was cool anyway. I was fishing a local lake where the bite is almost always tough but you ccan get quality fish all the time. It was just one of those days, like paul was saying everything was just right. We headed to the lake and me and my partner nailed 50-60 bass EACH. great day and great memories. Unfortuantely my partner that day passed away soon after. but that is a day i will never forget, and itsa great memory that will stick with me forever. THis day along with the day when me and the same guy hooked a huge tiger muskie. both of us hooked the same muskie with 2 different crankbaits. they were in opposite sides of the fishes mouth. it was insane.
