A little word of advice SMfisher, be sure your rods are strapped down on Bootens boat. He threw mine out because of fear of getting a butt kickin one day. Luckily The rod sock had an air bubble in it and floated. He plays dirty.

Well i found out yesterday, that i am going to be the proud owner of a new baby. This will be number 1 for me so im super stoked about it. Supposed to be sometime in October. I cant stop smiling. Of course I'm pulling for a boy, but there was a girl that fished the classic this year so it makes no difference to me, as along as it is healthy.

Maybe a little warmer where they were at? Sounds like you have really clear water,so maybe something on bank spooked them or some other predator.

Its a very versatile bait. T-Rig, C-Rig, Jig head, even topwater or weightless. Mimics crawdads when fished slower and on bottom. when pulled, looks like a crayfish flushing. Also mimics baitfish as RW said. I love using them like a fluke with stop and go retrieve. Take an ear plug and push it into a tube all the way to the head, Skin hook weightless and you got a very subtle topwater bait that is Weedless as it gets.
