  1. No question about that! But I'm looking for the "big" girls right now ;D
  2. I live less than an hour away from Dream Lakes across the Mississippi Line. It's a great place with very nice people and Great Fishing! My son goes nuts and runs around jumping if the name is mentioned in the house! Glad you had a good trip. Everyone that can should try this!
  3. After a real rough winter for our area, the days are stretching out and the Big girls are starting to move up. No where near as fast as last year, but they are coming. Caught This Pretty Lady fishing old weed beds along a rock wall on North Shore in Ross Barnett. Had a great day, caught alot of keepers, but she was the only nice one, and she was the shallowest, wierd! Was fishing a Texas Rigged El Grande Black and Blue Gila Monster, I picked up at the Classic, on a 6/0 Gammy, with a Pegged 1/2 oz Tru Tungsten to get it through the grass! Great Day on the Water, now to see that Magical 50 degree mark ;D
  4. I use the SS ovals on most of my shallow water cranks, don't know if they help, but they don't hurt
  5. Here in Mississippi the big girls are moving up to the points to feed finally. We have been doing very well on long main lake points, most grass covered going into deep water. The smaller fish are beginning to work into the creeks, can't wait for 5 more degrees to leave the water ;D

Try the Recoil Rig by Secret Weapon, especially with the C-Rig. Just run the main line through the line lock and then the bead, tie on your swivel as usual from there, double up the spectastic fiber and use a 1/2 oz or 3/4 oz sinker. When you feel a peice of cover, stop and shake your rod a few time to put some action in the bait. This technique is all I use C-Rigging now, it works Great!! Good Luck! Lee
  7. I use the spinner baits and the recoil rig religously! It want take you long to understand why they are alittle higher. They catch fish and the quality is top notch! Own three buzz baits and want ever fish anything else. My hook up ratio is much better, I thnk the bass go after the blade behind the buzzer and helps. JMO
  8. This rig is awesome! It really works well in many different situations. I ordered the Pro Pack and it should last me a year if not longer, but I use the recoil rig every outing. I am glad a big company picked this up and started getting the word out. Allot of guys are missing out not knowing about it.

  10. Karu's Special Brown and Extreme Bluegill are great during the spawn! They match the Bass's #1 enemy and want stay on a bed longer than a second till they're eat! Lee
  11. Found the site in a search. Definately like what I see so far and look forward to learning more
