  1. I use this. 100% success rate, probably saved me over $500 by now:
  2. It's basically a senko rod. For $200, just buy it, and figure what you want to do with it later.
  3. Lady Gaga's mom:
  4. A 2 power for 11" worms seems a little light. I'd handle one in person before committing to that.
  5. No, but good luck getting back to it, if you fish bigger lakes. I don't that's the case here, though.
  6. St' Croix Avid is worlds apart from any Mojo Bass rod. The Savvy are nice, too.
  7. I use it whenever there are large schools of bait, or if I see bass crashing bait. I work it fast at the surface during these times. Other times, almost deadsticking during a tough bite will work well - especially directly post spawn.
  8. Windows, LMAO.
  9. I can't really spoon feed you that info - I don't fish your river - but you'll never know if you don't try something different.
  10. Anything that breaks the current up.
  11. The human to bass ratio is also much higher.
  12. Move around, and work fast. If you find one, chances are there are more. You will get tricked by a few "wandering soul" bass, but keep moving and working fast. That doesn't necessarily mean only use fast baits either. I did well the other day with a small spider grub on a football jig.
  13. I *LOVE* Flash.
  14. That's a great image, and I've found what it represents frequently plays out in natural lakes with current (an inlet and outlet). The creek channel is not always well defined at the mouth, but further out. I assume it is from deposits caused by tail out waters. Anyway, maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see a feeder channel illustrated there, or do I? I was really hoping for an image that showed that.
  15. NA Sales rep for Shimano. I'm not sure if that's his "official title," but he has had a lotto do with the products that reach us, and is a member here.
  16. Hmmm. Took me about 3 seconds. The list below the video frame.
  17. He's talking about dynamite. For me, my favorite is a jig.

I don't have a panic box, but I have panic spots.

  20. Actually, only a few copolymers contain fluoro. Most are a blend of nylon.
  21. Probably, I'd say so.
  22. I'm dying for 55° water - it's been too hot around here. Nice work!

  24. Just curious, what advantage is there to using tungsten to counterbalance a rod over lead, or spare change for that matter?
