  1. They should change the title to Angler of the Past Few Weeks. KVD is the man, but the format stinks.
  2. Yep, tried them, tossed the unused ones in the garbage.
  3. How'd you get your hands on that one? I'm mad jealous. I gots connections. 8-) Show up at the PA meeting and I'll let you NEAR it. ;D I'll bring my new homemade bait....
  4. Just watched the video, and payed attention. I use a small piece of line, not the main line to pull the rubber band through. What is in the video is way more complicated than it needs to be. And BTW, I flipped some pretty sick grass beds yesterday with 1.5 tungsten weight, pegged with a toothpick. Its the only thing that holds those big weights in place. No issues.
  5. How'd you get your hands on that one? I'm mad jealous.
  6. Welcome to the club. Now you have to catch one of these from it
  7. You seen some of the new GIGANTIC tubes starting to permeate the market? LMAO, they look ridiculous. 16" tubes!
  8. LMAO, the Show Girls are a "small bait" featuring 12/0 trebles. Big Bait, big fish:
  9. Its bullfrogs.
  10. KVD Line & Lure Conditioner resolves issues with CXX. I can't fish CXX without it.
  11. Double Cowgirl, two Double Showgirls, a Top Raider, and some more titanium leader.
  12. No issues with Peg-Its, rubber bands, or even toothpicks kinking the line. Look at it this way, we peg beads to 4# fluoro for steelhead fishing. If it holds up to a 15 lb. steelhead in sub freezing, then it will be fine for bass. If your line is breaking, its the cover, not the rubber peg.
  13. Excellent work!
  14. Why wouldn't you simply take the lure back where you purchased it? This is what I do with any bad baits.
  15. Nice. Looks like you were hunting for the Slop Ness Monster.
  16. Probably, but catching swimbaits don't count. its swimbaits that catch that do.
  17. We'll need a final list of boaters and riders. i'll ride, or i can come down and smoke you losers from my kayak.
  18. what is it? Unobtainium.
  19. But that means you have to go into a Radio Shack
  20. Nice find. I'll be using these in my kayaks. The little cylinder fuses really do suck.
  21. Canada might be $20 to ship. But still...
  22. What is the difference between St. Croix's Gold Star Service Plan and G.Loomis' Xpeditor service? I thought it was $50 for a replacement under each plan? Pretty sure with the Gold Star Plan you have to pay shipping both ways, so it ends up costing more like $90 or $100. The big difference St. Croix has always had was the trade in and upgrade programs. No, you use their link to print a Fedex label, its $10, and include a check for $50 for the rod.
  23. Yep, 45 ACP loud. ;D No big deal, I only shoot to maim. But can you wing a weigh in bag at 100 yards?
  24. That surprises me, considering how deadly the rig is.
  25. Define "top dollar." A $17 Lucky Craft crankbait is a steal, when you compare it to the one out of five $6 Bombers that don't run properly.
