  1. Why a grown adult would engage in an online argument with a 12 year old is beyond me. Though it has been entertaining.
  2. Like watching two seven year old girls in a slap fight.
  3. Raise it. Quickly, and with force.
  4. Crest, your stuck in a vertical, lake fishing paradigm with the drop shot rig. You can pin a bait in current with a heavy weight, or use just enough weight to allow it to tick along bottom. I find the skinny pencil weights work best for bouncing.
  5. That's low. Really low. I'd raise the issue with the TD, and other anglers. I'd be real loud about it, too.
  6. Expect a call from G. Loomis soon.
  7. Nope, just part of mass produced, low quality controlled baits. To them, the risk of a bad bait making it to the consumers' hands is less expensive than measures to prevent such a thing.
  8. Yep. And not to be disagreeable but I use a football head through thick grass and lilys with no problems at all.... No problem with that, I've hammered in a more than a few nails with a socket wrench. Just curious, do you see any advantage to using the footballs?
  9. Have you seen his show where he is using this bait? I believe he's used in three episodes. One on lure making, one on muskies, and another on sound.
  10. Exactly ;D
  11. LMAO, Gatto is all over my spots! As for the OP, someone should post call them on this. That's bull. I wouldn't care, as long they are truthful. But that's fishing, never believe a word anyone says. :-X
  12. I'm most interested in the whopper plopper.
  13. It will take a lot more than 7 seconds to cut and tie on a new lure. Cutting braid takes longer than that for me as it is. just get some braid scissors. :
  14. Any "adults" that are inclined to complain about kids today should read this thread. Adults are just as stupid.
  15. Thank you for that post. I was just contemplating how to type up the same.
  16. Spring time on Sodus Bay, Lake O., so the pea soup hadn't arrived. That wasn't my bait, but blue and chartreuse cranks pay big dividends there. I think I was throwing a spinnerbait with a similar color scheme that day.
  17. Been there, have the T-shirt. This one, however takes the cake:
  18. When ice chases me off the lake, I hit the ditches for cold steel. Once the ice melts, I'm on the water again
  19. I'm not sure that Lazer TroKar and Lazer Sharp are one in the same. Nowhere on the Eagle Claw site can you find TroKar hooks. Who knows, maybe they are.
  20. Don't know if they're common, but my bet this is a hatchery fish. They stock tens of thousands in the creek where I caught him. Back in my aquarium keeping days, I'd see similar deformities in my own stock. Almost always it was related to water quality.
  21. Sure does. Yet we fished weed flats :
