What Is Your "go To" Dropshot Bait?
What's your hook up ratio with that setup? Kdding there - but what is the point, if you cannot have a second hook?

1970 Plymouth Superbird.
If we're talking Mopar, the Super Bird is hard to beat. It simply has a cool factor that always grabs attention. My personal favorite Plymouth from this era is the '69 GTX, the "gentleman's muscle car"

Thanks Mike - Delaware Valley Tackle!
Actually, Mike and I share info quite regularly. When I first met him at a fishing seminar, it was pretty clear he knew what he was doing after the first five minutes of talking to him. He's even gotten me out of a couple jams - disappearing e-clips; crazy two speed reels; etc.

Which Lube For You?
lol, technically a schematic is a simplified illustration, usually used to diagram electrical circuits. An exploded diagram accurately shows the parts and their assembly relationships. I call them schematics though.

How Far Up The Line (Shimano Guys Look And Speak)
Take a few of these reels apart after a year's worth of use, and you can quickly see which reels are what. The results are actually surprising, and the good ones don't rest along specific price points, model numbers, or even brands for that matter - only time shakes out the good ones.

I taught Mike everything he knows.

Saros is graphite, not CI4.

Which Lube For You?
x2 on the clean parts. Cleaning is what prolongs life, not so much the lubricant, though some are better than others. Clean your reels once a year, and it probably doesn't matter what you use.

Building A Rod Rack
If they sit too long, in the heat, they can develop a permanent bend.

Drop Shot Weights
Exactly. It has less drag as well.

New Boat
My buddy has a Mossy Oak camo Ranger 519. It's a head turner as well. Good looking ride, man.

Dream Rod
My dream rod? One that worked as well for everything as my 7' Ugly Stik and Penn reel back when I was ten or so.

A horizontal rack is great for short term storage - you don't need a ton of head room. I'd prefer to store rods vertically for the long term, however.- Drop Shot Weights
Ball style seems easier to pour. They also stay locked in the hair band I use as a keeper on my rod.- Drop Shot Weights
Skinny, pencil weights in current, ball everywhere else.- Spider Jigs Vs Jig N Craw Preference And Why?
Generally, the spiders are a finesse type presentation, with lighter baits, tackle and line. Keitech and Cabin Creek are two that I like to use. I use them on a 1/16 - 1/4 oz. single wire guard jig head - usually ball heads or footballs. Sparse weeds, cold clear water, smallies present is the usual circumstances, but not always.- Super Bowl Or Fishing

I'm Catholic, and I thought our mass was long. Kickoff isn't until after 6:30 PM EST.- Lc Pointer Replacement Hooks

Pull a heavy laden sled a mile or two, set up the shelter, drill a hole in the ice, or stay home, build a fire, and watch the game. Choice is simple.- Are You In A Bass Club?
1. There's a reason that there are three times as many boaters as non boaters. 2. There's a reason there's only 16 people in the club. 3. $25 is nothing for an entry feel. It's so low, I can't see how the contest is competitive. You can't win enough to recoup the cost, so it certainly is not about money. 4. When it really comes down to it, it is about money in tournament fishing, though not always about winning money. My advice: find another club, or find a boating partner to fish in team format tournaments. We even have a club here in central NY that demands that each participant splits time up front, and time in spots. Don't follow the rule, the your non boater doesn't sign your weigh in slip. Like Farmer, I prefer a team format above all others. I'll pass on one of the worst pieces of advice a boater gave me when I fished as a non boater: don't like it? Get your own boat.- Anybody Get Their Bps Master Catalog?
I noticed this starting a couple years ago. I actually liked seeing the specs and colors in the print catalog. I have a somewhat photographic memory for the written page that somehow doesn't completely translate when the same info is viewed on screen. Sign of the times, indeed... I love everything online, but I also love how tangible a book is - even of it's just fishing porn. - Building A Rod Rack
