  1. Nowhere? Not really..... 90 B.A.S.S. events fished and he's cashed a check in 66 of those events. (22 times he's finished in the top 10 - that's around a top 10 finish in every 4 events).
  2. The Big Baits plastics? Uhhhhh, yeah. Those are killer in the water willow up here on Oneida.
  3. Ray's stuff always makes me drool. Ray, you should tell the story about your magic trick, where your gear disappeared and reappeared a few days later. That story is a good as the gear!
  4. I'd start with town/city hall. I got a ticket for leaving my truck parked on the street during winter parking regulations. There was no snow on the road at all, but they like the revenue, lol. I called the town hall, and basically said I'd pay the $100 fine, but not for nothing, THEY NEVER PLOW MY STREET WHEN THERE IS SNOW!!! Well, ever since, my street gets plowed. That's just one small example. Politicians can't know what the citizens want without hearing from them. These aren't "political" issues, they are just life issues, and they are there to represent us and our needs.
  5. It's a VERY silly notion.
  6. Ping him or email him. He's around. Busy, but around.
  7. Search "Completed Auctions" and look for prices in a green font. Those are ACTUAL sales. That will give you the best indicator of what people are paying on the auction site.
  8. I believe NateFolmer is a pro staffer: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/user/25203-natefollmer/
  9. Lol, thanks Speed.
  10. Why not? I know a couple froggers myself.
  11. It probably isn't an issue with bass, but northerns have a tendency to roll when tuckered out, and that's when they get free.
  12. Perhaps a few emails, phone calls, and speaking up at town board meetings is in order. If it's a nice neighborhood, then LE should step up patrols.
  13. The reason I add a split ring is because a twisting fish can easily get the hook locked to the bait's body, and gain leverage. With a split ring, it swings freely.
  14. Plano CDS Pro Latch Stowaway boxes: http://www.planomolding.com/product.php?BCCID=138&PID=732
  15. Tried circle hooks as a way to prevent new anglers deep hooking fish. Didn't really work too well. I'd rather teach them to detect the strike, and pop them with a hookset, irrespective of hook style. To me, a circle hook is something for live baiting, where you let the fish take the bait before getting the hook in them.
  16. The old jerkbait is a jerkbait is a jerkbait argument. Rogues are unique in that they do not walk and slash about like a Pointer or X-rap. They do a more subtle shimmy, and long have been preferred for colder water. If you ever watched a school of baitfish just hanging around, individual fish will do this shimmy type of thing. I'm not sure why, but that must be a trigger for predators. Since they have been around a long time, there's lots of established mods that get them to do what they want them to do, or where they want them. Pretty sure Pace used a heavier split ring to get his bait down a little further.
  17. I'm Type 1, and insulin dependent. Good diet and exercise certainly helps, but isn't enough, since my pancreas doesn't produce insulin anymore.
  18. That's a beautiful thing!
  19. Would those regs affect tournament fishing?
  20. Owner Stiner ST-36 and 41 or VMC Vanadium Inlines.
  21. I wouldn't say that I'm an "offshore fisherman" per sa, but I'm often attracted to shallow spots by what is directly off shore from where I'm fishing. If the fish are deep, I fish deep, if they are shallow, I fish shallow.
  22. Drop offs and points are structure. Lilly pads and laydowns are cover.
  23. BPS is pretty much it's own name brand these days.
  24. I'd wager that these teams' spots really were "fished out." They are probably not the best spots, and do not reload as quickly. They are likely spots that these guys count on for single day tournaments. Spots like this are quickly fished, and eliminated by the pros. If you've ever fished with or observed a pro, you'd see why. They are very efficient at what they do, and catch most of the fish in a spot. If that spot doesn't reload for a few days, it can be affected by a major tournament. I've seen this on Oneida, first hand. The guys that do well after a big pressure event usually know prime spots that reload quickly, or fish completely differently than others. They tend catch the fish that weren't catch-able by techniques used the days before, or that weren't bothered. In a weeks time, those secondary spots do reload, after the prime spots.
