  1. Local angler Adrew Upshaw is sitting in 4th going into day 3 of the FLW Everstart! Also heard a 13.1 was weighed in. Some good fish being weighed in!

  7. Well, We fished BassNbucks Saturday and caught a lot of fish. We caught White bass, Gaspergu, Gar, and Black bass. We weighed in 17 pounds and finished in 15th place. We had a big bass of 6.4. 27 pounds won and it took about 22 pounds to get in the money!

  9. We placed second out of 60 boats. We weighed in 13.65, the wind was blowing so hard our trolling batteries were dead at 11:00. It was a tough day but people who hid from the wind were not catching them. We found the fish suspending in 20-25 foot, threw deep diving crank baits to get them.
  10. Has anyone had any luck flipping the buck brush? I tried it once last week and never got bit. Gonna try it again this week some time.
  11. The very back? I havent been there in years, is there a lot of grass back there now? I hope the pads come back, in there. That used to be a great area for the frog bite.
  12. We caught a few in six mile with eggs. Talked to one guide that said some were on beds up hurricane.
  13. Not to well, tried deep, top water, shallow, dynamite, nothing was working well. Saw a few on beds and caught a 3 shallow. A 4 won the weekly big bass tourney out of alpine this evening.
  14. Gonna go out in the morning and try to find some fish for a tournament sunday. Hope to find some early morning top water action and then back off into 8-12 foot with a jig and c-rig.

  18. We caught between 10-15 fish today big one a little over 4 pounds. Smaller fish were in the grass and the bigger ones were in 6-8 foot of water.
  19. What part of the lake you on? I talked to some people that went out today and they caught about 15 in shallow grass in only a few hours.
  20. I get off the rig tomorrow hope to get some fishing in over the next 3 weeks!
  21. Definately a top water early, try a soft body swim bait near grass, or a wacky worm/t-rig trick work with splitshot. Later in the day back off into 10-12 foot of water and slowfish, c-rig, jig etc.
  22. I was out on the lake Thursday through Saturday and the winds were rough. Friday I found a good top water bite but for my tournament Sat. it was gone. We caught our fish in 8-10 foot of water near grass or brush piles. We won our tournament with 14.33. Our big fish was 3.95 with another 3.5 both caught on jigs near deep water.

  24. Its been fun seeing all the professionals on the lake where I normaly fish.
