St Croix took pretty good care of me too. The difference was that the break was my fault (don't wanna talk about it). So I had to go with the Gold Star Warranty service which cost $50. Their customer service was great and I had my brand new Mojo back in less than two weeks.

I make some noise and spend too much money on guitars...just like I drink beer on a boat and spend too much money on tackle. I pretty much agree with the guys above. My go to is a jig head and tube. You can vary sizes on both the jigs and tubesbased on conditions, sometimes i'll stuff the jig inside the tube. You can buy special sinkers that go inside the tube but IMHO an appropriately sized split shot stuffed in there with a large enough hook to go around and hold it all together works pretty well.

I caught my PB from a pond of less than an acre. As said above, the spawn makes em vulnerable. Find a bed in the shallows and throw at it. Good luck

I've heard similar complaints regarding otters. I've fished the Big Piney and Gasconade rivers for the past three weekends straight and have only caught one little smallie so that's the excuse I'm using ............ otters!
