Vicious Flourocarbon Line is top notch!! Easily the best bang for your buck! I think that it handles and performs as well if not a little better than P Line, the only difference I can see between the two are the Vicious has a slightly larger line diameter! I haven't had a fish break me off while using it and I have been using it for two years. You should defenitly give it a try! WOW!! I am from Indiana so I don't get to fish the rock nearly as often as I would like, but I make at least one trip there every year. I have never seen the water up that high or that dirty. Looks more like the lakes around here. Leaving for Big Cedar Saturday morning, should be on the lake that afternoon. Fish should be in any of the three stages of the spawn with most fish in the shallows. Fish should be bitting good as long as I can get the boat close shallow water. Should be an excellent year for the spawn as the fry have tons of cover to hide in!

About 5lbs maybe 5.5 nice fish!

I purchased the Ardent reel cleaning kit you can pick it up at BPS for about 20 bucks. I comes with everything you need to clean and lube your reels. Oil, Grease, degreaser, lint free cloth, brush, lint free sponge tips, and screw driver. Should last a long time!! It is a real bargain.

Like others have said Rick is a great fisherman, and like all of us he has his own way of doing things. Rick is strictly a power fisherman and he won't break out a spinning outfit unless he really has too. By know means is he like me. I am a junk fisherman, "I am not great at anyone technique, but I try to be good with all techniques" Rick's one road approach probably works great for him but would never fit my style of fishing. Just because some Pro does it that way doesn't mean that we should all do it that way. We all have to march to the beat of our own drummer. I don't want to turn into a Xerox anyway! :

The Bionic blade is a nice rod, But like everyone else has said the Extremes are a much nicer rod, especially for an additional 10 bucks!

Vicious Fluorocarbon 15 pound test, for womin. 17 pound test for flippin and pitchin. Vicious Ultimate Copolymer in clear blue flo 14 pound test for night time wormin! I love Vicious I have yet to find a better line period. Fluorocarbon is 1/2 the price of most others as well, of course price don't really matter. It's just nice to know that some companies still make a great product and don't mark it up by 75%!
