I'd have to say the best fight for me was the 8 lb. 3 oz. Salmon on my favorite beaded nymph I call the "Bumble Bee". That fish fed 6 of us with leftovers.
Try skipping a senko wacky rigged.....it'll scoot right up under whatever you want it to.
Absolutely. Maybe its just in my head but I find its easier and more accurate to skip using an all fiberglass rod. Its all in the wrists.
I think they would lean more towards eating the beavers, river otters, and other warm blooded mammals. I don't think it would affect the fish population to great extents.
Its definately a case of release. If the authorities haven't found said alligator(s) then they'll more than likely die off this winter. This is why I stick to swimming in swimming pools only. I might run into a few crickets but they can't EAT ME!
