Toothpick has been the most reliable.

I use them sometimes when my skirts get thin and I'm not ready to replace it. Caught many fish with them.

Topwater and Jigs (not at the same time)

Have you ever had an opportunity to fish with "high end" gear? It my not be necessary, but it does add to the fun and makes it even more enjoyable for me.

Hard to find heavy or XH in a spinning rod for flippin/pitchin/punchin/froggin. I use both and probably always will. B/c for heavier lures spinning for lighter.

About 25 LMB on the pad crasher frog this last trip. Black with yellow trim and they were swollowing it deep. Must have been the right frog for the time. Nothing like topwater action had a great time.

Used my new Metanium a couple times now. Brake system and castability very impressive. I Like it better than my Calais. A few months ago there was quit a debate going on about the Chronarch Ci4 and Metanium. Some even preferring the Chronarch Ci4. Now that people have had a few more months to fish and compare the two I was hoping for further comments on the two reels.
