  1. I used Spro for years and have changed over to Booyhah Pad Crashers. They work just as well, but are less money and are a lot more durable.
  2. X2 Clean them with "magic erasers" and seal them with U40, I agree
  3. I think that is the key. I have a friend that uses a spinning setup for jigs and does quit well with it. I on the other hand feel awkward and uncomfortable flippin and pitchin without a heavy b/c setup.
  4. I don't keep track of the numbers anymore. I do keep track of the size of the bigger ones. Quality over Quanity
  5. x2 for the $$$$$$
  6. Don't see any Metaniums on sale, guess I'll wait til I do.
  7. Great lure, more effective than regular hollow body frogs in many cases. I've use both large and small frogs with great success, but now I use boohay pad crashers. They work just as well for me as spros, but are less money and MUCH more durable IMO
  8. Much prefer cork
  9. I fish better alone, but I usually enjoy fishing with others.

    Life is good !!! congrats
  11. Some of the best fishing I've experienced is during thunderstorms, graphite lighting rod and all. Probably not the safest thing to do.
  12. Broke 2" off the tip of a NRX852, How? I really don't know.
  13. One of my most effective baits, rig backwards and weightless 5/0 ewg
  14. I'd have to fish with it first. Just from handling a FJ at the store, I prefer the FH
  15. I do not own a FJ. Most people I talk to prefer the older FH.
  16. I bought the Ci4 because I wanted a lighter reel for my NRX 852. The FH was bought a few years earlier and paired with a GLX 852 which is about an ounce heavier than the NRX. I guess if I were to purchase another Stradic my decision would depend on what rod I would pair with it. Light weight vs. smoothness, the FH just has a more solid feel to me.
  17. They are on the heavy side, but I LOVE mine.
  18. 5/0 gam
  19. I think George Washington was a good President
  20. Best stuff I've ever found for bike tires though.
