  1. X4 even though I rarely use them anymore.
  2. horney toad and the like 6/0 flukes 4/0 or 5/0 color depends on what the bass want-white,baby bass, green pumpkin for fluke and dark color for toad
  3. Zoom's Fat Albert Twin Tails
  4. I'd ask around and find other fisherman that might be willing to suggest waters in your area.
  5. Got nothin but good to say about TW and there fast deliveries CA.to ID. 2 days ground. Order it Monday afternoon and it will be here Wednesday.
  6. I caught mine with a net. It was belly up and I just scooped him up. I think he would have givin me a pretty good fight if he would have been a live.
  7. Please sir, may I have more
  8. bullet weight if not pegged tight may slide up and down a bit, fraying the braid.
  9. you start punching through heavy slop and you will be glad you have a "heavy". Learn how to punch, it is one of the funnest ways to fish for me and this time of year it may be the only way to get to the big ones in some waters.
  10. Roadwarrior post was well done. My post may be a bit misleading. After I work them on the bottom and am ready for another cast, I will reel the ika in the rest of the way a get ready for another cast. Somedays the bass will actually hit the ika as I reel them back to the boat rather fast.
  11. it always amazes me how many bass we catch on Fat Ikas swimming them back to the boat on retrieve, rigged backwards, what do the fish think they are ?
  12. Fat Ika the best (or worst) kept secret. I've caught trout, catfish, smallie, bluegill, along with a lot of LMB on Ika's and Fat Ikas. Great bait
  13. You'll never know until you're out there and give them both a try.
  14. That "President" is hard to beat for the money
  15. What a strange question
  16. Very good frogs, I used them for years. I have most of my success with black or darker colors. I have since switched to Booyah Pad Crasher. They work just as well, but are a lot more durable and less money. I am getting 2 to 3 times the life out of the booyahs compares to the spros. Good luck froggin!!!!!
  17. Fun way to fish the weeds and sight fish too.
  18. Congrats, You'll remember that one for a while.
  19. One of my fishing partner rarely out fishes me, but when he does it is usually because I am stubbornly hanging on to my straight braid, while he has a fluoro leader tied to his identical bait. Sometimes it does make a difference, I'm confienced of that.
  20. I will try top water dispite the depth of the water. Granted shallow waters may be more productive in general, but I have caught bass in deep waters with no sign of surface activity many times.
  21. Agree, but mine don't last very long.
