Have you ever had a run in with a Anti-Fishermen
I have never had anyone yell at me for fishing, but i have had people tubing down the creek and they decided to go swimming in the hole i was fishing >. I should have said something to them but I don't think they did it on purpose, i think they were just ignorant city folk and didn't know any better. On the other hand i have had people yell at me for bowfishing but i can see why, people just don't like seeing arrows through the fish they see in their back yard. I have even had the cops called on me for this. On one instance a guy came down and told me not to shoot the koy fish he put in the creek. I then told him it was illegal to put any fish in the creek that did not belong, so i shot both of them when he went inside . I don't know if that was the right thing to do but i know that if they would reproduce it could cause a problem and im sure he could have got a big fine for putting them in the creek. Boy were those some big koy fish the one was over 2 feet.

Diawa lures what do you think?
I went to my local dicks store the other day and saw they had diawa lures for $3 so i bought a whole bunch of them. I mostly got the peanut crankbaits both shallow and medium diver, i also got some Dr. Minnow jerkbaits. I was wondering what you guys think about these lures, were they that cheap for a reason or just a great deal? I have replaced all the trebble hooks though, because the seamed cheap and like they would bend very easily.

Trout streams warmer in winter?
Its a spring fed stream and the creek is only about a 1.5 miles from the creek. Today i saw some carp sitting at the mouth wondering if they were there cause its warmer or if it was just because it was fairly deep back water.

What to use for native stream trout?
I fished a new trout stream today. I caught 2 little tout one was a small brown the other was a small rainbow. I was using a blue fox spinner, i know there are a lot more trout and i thought i would catch more than id did. Any tips or lure suggestions? Also i believe most of the trout are only a year old or so because they are all around 6 inches.

Trout streams warmer in winter?
I thought about a therometer but, im to cheap to get one. Guess is should invest in one. Mabe this is wrong, but someone told me that streams at the head water was always at 50 or 55 dont know if this is true but that why i was thinking the water would be warmer than the creek water. The creek had ice chunks floating down it today so i assume the water is in the lower 30s.

Trout streams warmer in winter?
This may be a stupid question but would a trout stream that flows into the creek i fish have warmer water than the creek in the winter? If so would it be better to fish this side of the creek? By the way im fishing for smallmouths. I was wondering because i know the creek water is in the low thirty and i think that trout streams are usualy around fifty at the headwaters.

Has anyone tried Fireline Braid?
I have used fireline crystal for a year now and have not had one problem with it yet. I used the 8 pound test fished with it almost everyday of the summer. I have never broke this line. The only thing is it is not "crystal" it looks like anchor rope.
