  2. Can you add a Lowrance transducer to a Minn Kota Terrova without hindering the stow and deploy, tie straps getting in the way?
  3. I am trying to make a good decision on which technology to go with Shallow water anchor or Trolling GPS. I have narrowed it to Talons over Powerpole and Minn Kota Ipilot over Motor Guide XI5. a set of talons would be around $3500 and the Minn Kota Ultrex Bow Mount Trolling Motor with i-Pilot Link US2 $2600.00. I fish Toledo Bend and Lake Fork and San Rayburn, What are the pros and cons of these I need advice I can only afford to buy one. Let me know your thoughts.
  4. Put in at Hideaway Harbor on the center leg of Fork and fish going north on the west side bank creek come very close to bank great fishing as well as protected from wave action safe for your jonboat.

Bass_Fanatic I have fished your area a few years back it was the Red River I dont remember the pool but it was just north of Alexandria had a great trip, Is that area still producing good fish? any advice on lakes in your area that are a must fish? Maybe I could treat you to a day on the basin for a day in your area. I am currently fishing out of a 2003 Nitro Z8/ Mercury 150 but I am selling her and have ordered a Triton 19TRX / 225 proXS optimax she was in Tyler Tx today should be here tomorrow she is my retirement present to myself.

Drink plenty of water not sodas and add a little Florida water in the ice chest with a little water dip your buff or a rag in it and wipe your self down and put the buff back on the Florida water will cause the cold water to evaporate very quickly causing evaporative cooling it works wonders on those super hot days. on Amazon.   8. Jewel Bait Jeff Kriet Squirrel Head is the best i have found for jigs and Big Bite Baits Jeff Kriet - Squirrel Tail Worm is the go to bait for me when things are tough the tail floats and they cant stand it it works great on bedding fish also.
  9. I am Moving to South Louisiana (Atchafalaya Basin) Lake Henderson area, is anyone on here from that area or familiar with the water? I bought topos and aerials of the area looks like a lot of swamp and shallow lakes, I imagine a lot of flipping soft plastics. Any advice from locals on getting bit ? Thanks KJG
  10. Digger series at Cabellas is a quality crank and many styles $1.99 each. Bandits are also a good one chrome bandit has a small problem holding on to finish but all others do well.
  11. Has anyone been to this lake and can you tell me how the fishing is there for Large mouth bass, I have heard storys but not sure how true they are about the number of bass you can catch and size of the bass??
  12. I can tell by my wife to when its time to go fishing, When she starts being a pain in I disagree. Time to go fishing. I can listen to it now or go fishing and listen to it later. Guys thanks for all this great discussion it gives me a lot of things to try and with all these fronts I will get plenty of practice. I did get some of these guys to bite yesterday on a white tube jig so I post front day with out a big 0 on the day. Thanks Kevin
