  2. I would have to say that the wind has also been something my dad DIDN"T like to deal with when fishing...I've never really let it stop me from fishing. After reading the info you posted I can see where the wind would be welcome. I'll have to remeber this the next time I'm out on the lake. Thanks for the info..... Alfred
  3. I fish a private pond that could fit between the 50 yard line and the end zone of a football field. This pond was stock about 3 and half years ago with LM, it had a large population of bluegill/bream that had no size to them, now the bluegill /bream are large to say the least. This summer I have landed a 7+ pounder off live bait and a 5+ pounder off a Berkely 6" Cherry seed colored lizard. Both within 5' of the shore line out of a downed tree. In the 2-3lb range maybe 5 - 10 bass, not sure on the 2lb and under, but its been alot. This is one pond that I love to fish and plan to insure the bass stay large and well fed. Alfred
