August 9th,I went to Canoe Creek.Caught 10 bass,3 were 15" rest were smaller.All fish caught in weeds all over the lake.I was using Zoom Baby Brush Hogs,watermelon/magic.Air 70's very windy,and partly sunny.H20 was 80.By the way I was on the water at 2:15pm,left at 8:15 pm.Lake still very weedy and it's hard to get around,but not a bad trip.

August 6th Curtis(my eldest son)and I were at Colyer Lake.We caught 13 largemouth,3 were 15 in.We were on the water at 5:30 am and fished till 12:30 am. Air temp. 67-73,H2O temp.76.I caught 6 using Zoom Baby Brush Hog,watermelon/magic.Curtis caught 7 using a bunch of different styles and colors of soft plastic's.The 1st 2 hours we caught most of the fish and we had no rain.After that we had our rain gear on the rest of the time.The last heavy rain I said was it and we loaded up.The lake is around 6 ft. lower than the last time I was there on July 8th.I am sure it is due to the dry weather we have had.I sure wish they would get the dam fixed and let her fill back up. Hi everyone.Aug. 3rd I was at Canoe Creek,caught 5,2-15in.other 3 smaller but still bass.Weeds are nasty+thicker and they cover more of the lake this year,than last.H2o temp. was 89.
