Hello , it’s been a few years since I have been up to Lake Erie for the smallmouth. I mostly used to fish the Conneaut Ashtabula area. Has anyone heard how the fishing has been lately? I know it should be about the right time of year for things to get going. I got hooked on Muskie fishing and have been away from the smallmouth game for a while .

Does anybody know if the smallmouth have started in Presque Isle bay yet? It is kind of a long trip for me to come up there and trying to figure out the best time to make the trip. Awesome fishing there if you catch it right. Thanks for any info.

Has anybody fished or know if they are catching the smallies yet in Presque Isle Bay. Plan on taking my boat up there this month and not sure when or where to head. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am assuming that the spawn is about over. Can anyone tell me where I should start to focus on finding smallies. I mostly want to fish in the Ashtabula Conneaut area. Any info would be great!!

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a good book on fishing for the Smallmouth bass on Lake Erie. I have had a hard time finding good information specifically about lake Erie.

I am a veteren at the walleye fishing in the Central Basin of lake erie but real interested in the Central basin Smallmouth bass fishing. How has the fishing been in the last couple seasons. I have all the equipment for it I just need to get out there.
