  5. What the heck is going on in Conn.??? DEP, Coast Guard???? 6. Thank you all for your words of wisdom and answers. Other than what has been discussed why certain area's are marked out of bounds/off limits. I also believe that if its a sweet spot and easy to catch em' and most of the anglers know, then it should be off limits. Where is the challenge and skill? It would be like going trout fishing in a hatchery.
  7. Other than for safety and water conditions, what might cause certain area's to be closed off? Especially if you and maybe other anglers know that area is a sweet spot.
  8. I fish a few tourney's and always make time for family fishing. It's a must do.

  17. Yeah, That's it with the ducks along with bait fish to eat. I know I'm whacked for not trying it before, its just that I didn't want to waste time. Then I heard about the duck thing and it seemed to make click. My luck, the state record has been it all these years. Thanks all
  18. I have this pond on my property, about 1 acre in size, with tall reeds encompassing most of it. I believe it to be spring feed and I've never threw a line in it, because I figured I would be wasting my time. Is there anyway I would be able to tell if I have a sweet spot right under my nose? I was told that if ducks live on it then bass are sure to be in it. True or False? For the past 2 out of 4 years that I lived here, ducks and snapping turtles have been living in it.
  19. I say we get a tourney going in May for Law enforcement Memorial week either in RI, CT, MA or NH. seeing that it would most likely be the first of its kind around these parts, I think.
