I am looking for some advise from someone who has used Shimano's Curado D Baitcaster. I have always used Shimano spinning reels and have several of them. I would like to stick with Shimano if I can, But I need a new good baitcaster. Want a low profile, and one that is almost impossible to backlash. I have a problem with this. Also, are St. Croix baitcasting rods worth the money. I have always used All-Star and love them. But is a St. Croix worth 2 times the cost? Low-profile baitcaster reels recommendations for under $150 ?
