Yes I am a first time buyer but I have always had a boat anytime I needed it it would run abt 70 it was a ranger tho and I he'd no problem controlling it. The other was an 02 blazer with a 250 and honestly I couldn't tell you how gadgets it was easily 75 plus and yet again no problem drivin it. I'm not worried about beingn able to drive one. My dad has worked at a ranger dealer since I was born and I bacteria always dryinve boats. But. Want one to say its. changed my minD I found a 89 ranger in my price range.

I agree l. I fished out of a 79 sea raider with a 85 HP with no seats and and would still win tourney. Just some people don't onow anything about boats

I have fished many tourney on the Ohio on the Ashland end and the fishing is great here. Especially grass beds

Don't know to much about dropping another 2 grand to be tourney ready lol I fished some tourney last year out of a. 79 sea raider with no seats and just a price of wood for floor. I'm a firm believer in it don't matter what your in if u can fsh our can fish but here's one that I took out today its a 18 laser with 150 that don't need anything ready for water. The Hydra sports batteries aare shot and wouldn't start it. This boat runs great. And for 200 cheaper

I live in Ashland ky I grew up fishing the river I have learned a lot from my dad he won't a couple of the red man classics on the river I always had luck with a watermelon seed 6' worm everywhere . Yes I know and its ready for the water don't need anything 4 new batteries trolin motor 2 fish finders and depth finder

I know the only thing is the clear coat, but that's not a big deal for me

18' 150 johnson, hotfoot, whale-tale, all new batteries, 50 lb thrust trollin motor.. carpet just need cleaned, motor runs and pumps water fine, transom looks in great condition. 2000 will buy it?

I would be willing to bet money. Obviously some people don't know anything about boats. You get a boat that weighs nothing with a modee 150 it will do well worth that. I can say I have never rode in it but. I goin by our ranger with a 150 21 ft boat.

Yes that's what I said. We have a 21 ft ranger 391 v with 150 that's just got holes poked in the exhaust and an SS prop that's hitin 67 and that's a heavy boat. Keep in mind my dad has been a boat mechanic for 30 years,

engine starts, carpet good, floors good and no cracks in transom. his daugeter was fihing out of it and i had a plate on it an it would run aout 82 and he caught her flyin one day on the river so he parked it, plus he got a divorce cause of fishin. lol

i came across a 82 17' Laser With a 150 merc. bored .30 over.. stainless prop, power trim tilt, 36v. troller motor, 2 depth fnder livewell ect. trailer in excellent shape.. 1500.. boat hasnt been started in 2 years.. i think it worth it.. do you?

21 ft 94 Ranger 391 v Johnson

As bein raised around rangers buildig tem an what not i would say Ranger Commanche, you can take them anywher fill em full of water and the wont sink and you can get through culverts and what not.. Thats just my opionion.

17 ft. 40hp Merc, with the console livewell under seats,800.00 but the motor still has to be hooked up.. Anyone know anything about them.. about a 84 model.
