Down here in florida you have to be at the lake early, That is if you like to catch fish. The 95 degree heat, no wind ,no fish starts at about 10:30 - 7:00pm and nothins better at 5 oclock in the morning than a 5 pounder on topwater .Man i love florida

Dang that barra's huge. How much did that bad boy weight . i catch them down here in florida ( Transplanted from australia for food) My biggest is about 15#. Thats the biggest we got down here so far

Yeah they changed it to a 10hp zone about 3 months ago. That little pond is world class. i,ve had 50 fish days ,with big'uns mixed in with out even trying hard. You should look into it. it has a huge population of talopia, big bass food .

Hey George you ever fish lake Kenansville on the other side of the marsh. I fish this lake all the time there is also a great little 10 hp zone right next to it that's amazing. Just wondering if you haven't checked them out lately you should it would be a long drive for you though. Good luck and tight lines

Yeah we don't have barra's naturaly in florida there brought from Australia . We use 1/2 ounce jig heads and chartruse gulp grubs . We catch'em on fly to cant beat a chartruse and white clouser.

Nothin really 2 pogies 1 under sized red snapper and one eel Still had a great time

Well tomorrow I'm going deep-sea fishing on a party boat for the first time and need some help. The boat supplies bait but its dead shrimp and squid and I heard you catch bigger fish with live bait. I can't afford live bait and was wondering how hard it is to catch your own. I don't have a cast net and will only have about an hour at the dock to catch the bait any tips.

I fish for a fish down here in florida called barramundi( In avatar) . There nile perchs little brother and let me tell you a catching 10 pound barras are awsome i cant image hooking into one of those 150-200# nile perch. Also if there any thing like barra's they spend more time jumping than they do swiming. ohh yeah The hotter the weather the better good luck catch one for me. This one is about 15#

In my experience the bigger the fish the harder the fight. I used to think that big fish can't fight that much harder, but i'm now a beleiver. 2 days ago i caought my PB somwhere betweem 8.5-9.5# and she ripped me I was using a 7 1/2 foot heavey action rod with a citica with 50# braid and she just would'nt give up. I'm talking way to much. Good Luck
