I bought my first Kistler at the beginning of this season just to try one out. That one is a 7ft Heavy action Magnesium series. Since then I've added two 7.5 LTA's and a few more from the Magnesium series. My latest purchase of yet another Kistler was just yesterday...I needed a great rod to put my new Curado 200E7 on. Sold my last Loomis IMX to my brother last night. So now I've completely changed my arsenal over from Loomis and St Croix to Kistlers....Needless to say, I kinda like them!!! For the money ($150-$180) the Magnesium Series is hard to beat. I've not yet taken the big plunge and purchased a LTX and don't know that I ever will but am really enjoying all the one's that I have.

Got mine yesterday....Fished with it last night in a local tournament. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't like it alot more than the 5 Revo's I've bought this season but guess what???? Its AWESOME!!! Caught a 2.7lb and another just under 2lbs. (got smoked in the tournament but love my new Curado) Put my new reel on a Kistler Magnesium 7ft heavy action. The reel balanced great and sits lower to the rod than my Revo Premiers and STX's.. Anybody want to buy a bunch of almost new Revo's????

I just ordered a bottle based on this thread. Is it possible to apply this product to line that is already on my reels? If not, I change line frequently throughout the fishing season and am clear on how to apply it while putting on new line. I assume that I could spray it on my line that's already on a reel and then pull several yards off the spool and spray it again to treat line further down in the spool on the reel. Its always better to ask before I waste any of what sounds like an awesome product!

The ASR rods are not in the 2008 All Star catolog . Anyone know if they've been discontinued?
