Ive done great in the bays but have been missing the smallie action on the lake...tons of laregemouth and qccasional smallie in the bays

Has anybody had any luck finding smallmouths on the big lake near Rochester. Seems to be dead zone these days. Ship builders? Hedges? near Irondequoit?

I grew up almost on the bay...live about 5 min east currently know it pretty well, great little body of water ledge fishing and junk in the spring, can go out in big lake too.

I'm going on Wed any suggestions? Iron Sodus? Anything going on in the big lake seems like the dead sea last few years

I love the Bay grew up there..hav'nt fished it this year but hear the walleyes are going nuts!!

Anyone having luck at Conesus Lake? I've fished that lake for years and for whatever reason can't find bass to save my life!! Couple of pike but no bass to speak of! What gives?? how deep whatever!! Thanx!!

you fished that before? I've never been that far down the river .Past Cape Vincent? smallies in 3-6ft of water was like 15 years ago!!

Where were they on the river? I am adjacent to the rock light that they showed in a camera shot in the show but i didn't recognize where they found the school of smallies...

in years past..but i just moved back to the area about two years ago and the smallies seem to be gone!!I have some luck later in the year in about 25 to 30 feet but no real numbers

anyone fishing smallmouths in Ontario from Rochester to Sodus?I can't seem to crack the code,drifted all day yesterday didn't even see fish on the graph!?Any body having any success?

Go get some Berkley 5" swim shads(blue pearl or herring)they are saltwater baits,rig them on a 1/2 or 3/4 oz bulet head(owner)then toss em!!! great baits I also landed a bonus 8 lb walleye on them a week ago!! Good luck!!
